Batuotas and Ksena Katinas, wealthy residents of Nyciai village, once again had the opportunity to spend the day together, driving around to handle business matters that were truly important to them. On this occasion, the couple set out from their home in Nyciai straight to the Municipality building in the town of Kupiškis. They needed to secure signatures from officials to facilitate the planned modernization of Batuotas’s rural tourism business, ensuring everything proceeded legally and smoothly—especially since new regulatory changes had recently come into effect for all owners of such tourism homesteads. Consequently, the Katins found themselves waiting outside the offices of several different officials at the Municipality. Their patience paid off, however; they succeeded in obtaining the crucial signatures and stamps they needed.
