Since the weather happened to be fine and sunny once again, the sorcerer couple chose to travel not by car, but by air—flying comfortably while straddling their broomsticks. Upon arriving in the Kraštiečiai district of Kupiškis, the pair from Nycių flew directly into the apartment of Irena’s parents—the Pirštas family—by entering through an open second-story window, rather than using the indoor stairwell; a method they had employed on several previous occasions.
